It's amazing to me that I am surrounded by so many talented people ... I can't believe how amazingly talented some of my friends & family are. Some of them have decided to turn their passion into businesses and I thought I'd give them a shout out here ...

Yes, he's family but he is so talented!! He started out doing wedding slideshows and birthday slideshows ... but he also does a lot of video filiming / editing.

I recently saw a clip of a wedding he filmed and the editing was AMAZING. I swear the first 2 mintues made me want to watch the rest. He wasn't finished with it yet so now I'm ooober excited to see how it's going to turn out!!

My brother is very talented and will give you so much care.

I know one of the owners of this company and she is so much fun! Margo is a fun person to be around. And the team of people behind this company LOVE what they do and it shows in all their videos.

I'm non-athletic, not a beach person and dipping my head under water freaks me out. But watching their videos make it look like so much fun!! and I WANT to get over my fears just so I can dive with them!

Weddings Make Me Happy

I LOVE talking about weddings!! Does that make me sick in the head? Or am I just a typical girl? Not sure yet. haha .. but I LOVE it!

Two people in love and happy .... makes me happy. There is so much negative press on infidelity and unhappy couples these days. So when I hear that a couple is happy and in love .... it makes me happy.

Since I got married I feel like I'vpeople have been asking me a lot of questions about weddings. Most people say that our wedding was simple but elegant. thanks guys! It means a lot to us especially since we did most everything our selves.

I think what made it so effective was that everything was red... we used the same sparkly paper for everything ... the same ribbon and same flowers. Nothing fancy ... just consistent.

Gee and I collaborated on the designs for everything. I did the design for all the paper products (w/ Gee's approval) and Gee & my Mom came up with the centerpiece idea. EVERYTHING was printed off of our HP Injet Printer.

Many of the things were hand cut and assembled by me, Gee, my wonderful bridesmaids, and my parents! =)

BFFs

For those of you that care, it looks like Lauren and Heidi are going to be friends again. I knew they would. BFFs don't just stop being BFFs because of some guy.

I cried when Heidi was crying and Lauren was crying and Heidi said, "My favorite stories are my stories with you. My favorite memories are my memories with you." Then I started crying!

I'm am I lame or what?

I guess it just hits home because you realize how much your BFFs mean to you. I have two, Sharon and Kristine. We've all had our "moments" but through it all we've stuck together. Why? Because we're like sisters. We're family and that's what you do when you really love someone.

It's kinda nice ...

that Right now ... I am sittin in a candle lit room by myself completely relaxed.

The Hubby is playing poker with the boys and I opted to stay home and chillax and concentrate on getting better.

2) Laundry
3) Read the Excelsius User Guide

and that's it!

Right now ... I choose not to do any of them. Last year I had sooo much going on ... that right now .. I'm going to soak in this little bit of relaxation while I can get it.

Hello, I'm Cathy Lynn and I'm addicated to Google.

About 2 or 3 weeks ago ... i created my first google account.

The first day I used it ... I hated it. I guess I was uncofortable with the idea that it was organized by "Conversation" and everything was grouped together. I fear I would miss emails. I had been using yahoo for almost 10 years and it was hard to break the mold.

so I deserted my gmail account and created a new yahoo account with my new last name in the email address. It started to fail on me ... i think it didn't like the period in "catherine.respicio" ... i was missing emails ... people weren't receiving emails. I was sad that I couldn't chat with my BFFs at work! LoL.

About a week ago I opened my mind and decided to give my gmail another shot. Now ... I'm in love with it. I love how I can keep better track of my conversations .... and how my email inbox doesn't look so clogged. I love the calendar and how i can make different calendars and make them different colors. I also love how my contacts & calendar sync really nicely to my Blackberry with the use of a tiny gmail mobile app. I've been searching for something easy like that.

I heart Google.
